Voice of Experience Forum (VoEF), supported by The National Lottery Community Fund, delivered a series of six Health Improvement events across North Lanarkshire between 2024 and 2026. These events aimed to empower older people by increasing awareness of falls prevention, long‑term health supports, assistive technology and wider wellbeing services. Each event provided opportunities for social connection, learning, consultation and engagement with partner organisations.
Overall, 253 people attended these events which have contributed to empowering older adults with knowledge, practical skills and confidence to manage their health and wellbeing more effectively. The positive feedback and increased participation in VoEF highlight the ongoing value of these initiatives. Continued collaboration with health and social care partners will be essential to sustain and build upon this progress in future programmes.
